JLG Forklift Parts - In the late 1960's John L. Grove, with his wife Cora started out on a cross country journey in their RV. Recently retired, after spending several years working with his brother to manufacture their crane company into an market leader, John had no idea that momentous trip would permit JLG Industries, Inc to emerge. The world leader of mobile aerial work platforms and precision materials handling technologies was the end consequence of a road trip.

Whilst on their trip, John spent time talking to former business acquaintances whom the Groves stopped to visit along the way. These conversations combined with a tragic occurrence-two workers being electrocuted on scaffolding when the Groves were going to the Hoover Dam- John discovered a vast market for a product that could promptly and safely elevate people in the air to accomplish upkeep and other building functions.

After their return from vacation, John set up a partnership with two of his friends and bought a metal fabrication business in McConnellsburg, Pennsylvania. Starting with a small crew of twenty personnel, they produced and sold their first JLG aerial work platform in 1970. The business incorporates some of the basic design essentials of that original lift into current designs.

JLG lift trucks have come a ways from the time when Mr. John L. Grove came back to town from his cross-country road trip and since the initial aerial work platform debuted on the market. Nowadays, the business proudly continues to expand itself into numerous markets worldwide and develops new products to make certain customers are capable of being more effective and perform in the workplace within a safer environment.
